Full Time Trade Risk Validation Analyst (Contract) Jobs, in Argyll Scott - Maukerja

*1 year contract role*

Our client in financial services is looking for a detail-focused Trade Risk Validation Analyst to join their Global Trade Solutions team on a contract basis. You’ll check that approved trade conditions line up across credit applications, approval documents and trade systems, and make sure anything that doesn’t match gets picked up and fixed.

What you’ll be doing

• Validating and reconciling approved trade conditions across credit applications, approval documentation and trade systems
• Spotting, investigating and escalating discrepancies, missing information or unapproved changes on time
• Keeping clear records of reconciliation results, exceptions, actions taken and supporting evidence
• Working with stakeholders across teams to resolve data and process exceptions
• Preparing MIS and exceptions reports for management
• Supporting periodic control reviews, including finding recurring issues and root causes, and suggesting ways to improve reconciliation processes and risk controls
• Delivering work within set timelines and raising blockers early
• Helping with other business tasks and controls when needed

What you’ll bring

• Experience in trade finance, risk management, controls or data reconciliation is a plus, but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies across multiple sources
• Good organisational and analytical skills, and comfort managing recurring tasks and exceptions
• Confidence working with spreadsheets, databases and transaction or workflow systems
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the confidence to deal with stakeholders across teams
• The ability to work on your own while knowing when to ask for guidance or escalate
• A conscientious approach and a strong risk and control mindset
