Assess patients’ nursing care needs and provide appropriate care in accordance with medical orders and hospital procedures.

Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and adjust nursing care according to their changing needs.

Comply with hospital policies, nursing standards, clinical procedures and established best practices.

Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors and healthcare staff.

Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation and adhere to requirements relating to treatment, infection control and professional practice.

Provide guidance, supervision and mentorship to new and junior nursing staff.

Support effective communication and teamwork within the nursing and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
