Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant (Payroll Specialist) to own accurate, compliant payroll execution for our Singapore team within a fast-paced Finance/FinTech environment. You will be the go-to person ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while payroll stays fully aligned with local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end Singapore payroll each cycle, including salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, and statutory contributions (CPF, SDL, and related filings).
• Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with Singapore employment and tax regulations (e.g., IRAS reporting, IR8A).
• Support regional payroll processing across multiple markets, coordinating with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Handle payroll-related employee queries and prepare payroll reports for HR and Finance leadership.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation, benefits administration, and continuous improvement of payroll processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, with a strong focus on Singapore payroll compliance.
• Demonstrated experience with regional payroll processing across multiple countries.
• Solid working knowledge of CPF, SDL, IRAS tax reporting, and Singapore employment regulations.
• Proficiency in English for daily written and verbal communication with internal teams and external vendors (as the role requires cross-border team and vendor coordination).
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and discretion with confidential data.
