Maternity Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to mothers during the antenatal and postnatal periods.
• Monitor mothers’ vital signs, recovery and overall condition.
• Assist with breastfeeding, newborn care and postnatal education.
• Monitor newborns and provide routine newborn care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors and senior nurses during maternity-related procedures.
• Educate mothers and families on postnatal recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety procedures.
• Work closely with doctors, midwives and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Registered Midwife

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive midwifery care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Assess and monitor the condition of mothers and babies throughout labour.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and identify any abnormalities or complications.
• Assist with and manage normal labour and delivery in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Assist obstetricians during deliveries and maternity-related procedures.
• Provide immediate care and assessment of newborns following delivery.
• Support mothers with breastfeeding, postnatal recovery and newborn care.
• Provide health education and counselling to mothers and their families.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive maternity and delivery records.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, infection control and patient safety standards.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
