About Summit Rock

Summit Rock is a Singapore-based independent advisory firm covering critical minerals, metals and energy transition across APAC. Our work spans M&A advisory and financial modelling, and sell-side equity research on ASX-listed mining companies. We are small, technical, and deliberately hands-on: everyone who works here builds models, reads announcements, and forms views.

The role

You will work directly with the Principal on live mandates: building financial models, reconciling company disclosures against models and research reports, and producing the raw analysis that goes into published equity research and transaction materials. Within six months we will train you be able to take a technical report and an ASX quarterly and turn them into a defensible valuation.

What you will do

• Build and maintain bottom-up mining financial models (production, opex, capex, revenue, cashflow, NPV/sensitivities)
• Track and summarise ASX announcements, quarterly reports, resource/reserve updates and feasibility studies for coverage companies
• Draft sections of equity research initiations and updates; run three-way reconciliation between report text, model and source announcements
• Develop company pitch decks and market facing publications

Who we are looking for

• Singaporean or PR; fresh graduate or up to ~2 years experience
• Degree in engineering, geology, finance, economics or a quantitative field. Mining or resources exposure/interest is a plus, not a requirement
• Strong Excel; comfortable with formulas, structure and audit trails.
• Precise with numbers.
• Able to read dense technical documents, extract and communicate what matters
• Self-directed. Remote work means you manage your own day and deliver on deadlines without supervision
