Team & Position

Capital Market IT (CMI) department is responsible for the development and maintenance of Capital Market applications for our worldwide users.

As an Intern, you will join the Transversal Operations IT team in charge of supporting market transaction reconciliation, valuation, payments and confirmations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with front-line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. You will also be in touch with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

The team interfaces with Front-Office applications (ORCHESTRADE, etc.), Back-Office applications (SUMMIT, CALYPSO, etc.), Financial reporting and Risk management systems as well as referential data repositories (customer data, market rates).

Mission Objectives

• Python scripts to compute indicators and send alerts.
• Design monitoring dashboards with Grafana, Qokpit, Dynatrace.

• Contribute with creative ideas to improve systems and processes.
• Implement new way of development (Spec-Driven Development methodology).

The scope will be adapted depending on the situation and the progress of the trainee.

Qualifications and Profile

Final year student pursuing Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages, Shell Scripting.
• Framework exposure to ReactJS, FastAPI, Flask and SqLite3 (DB), PostgreSQL, any other RDBMS.
• Basic UNIX / Windows knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub, Copilot) and willingness to learn best practices for their effective use.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and eagerness to develop skills in prompt engineering and responsible AI usage.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and outputs with guidance from senior team members.
• Interest in exploring how AI tools can improve development workflows and problem-solving approaches.
