Responsibilities
Mechanic
Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and mechanical equipment in the workshop
Conduct routine servicing such as oil changes, brake servicing, tire rotation, and filter replacement
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults using diagnostic tools
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify wear, damage, or safety issues
Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize breakdown
Inspect damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements.
Panel Beater
Remove, reshape, and refit vehicle panels using hand tools and power tools.
Straighten bent frames and body structures with hydraulic equipment.
Weld or replace metal and plastic parts as needed.
Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
Work with technicians, painters, and other workshop staff to complete repairs.
Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good condition.
Record work completed and provide status updates.
Requirements
