Job Description

• Design, plan and supervise electrical installation works for construction projects.
• Prepare, review and coordinate electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on electrical works.
• Monitor electrical installation progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure electrical works meet required quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and rectification of electrical systems.
• Provide technical support and resolve electrical engineering and site-related issues.
• Review material specifications and coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
• Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, relevant codes, standards and Singapore regulations.
• Monitor subcontractors' work and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to project management.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records and other project documentation.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices and technical standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of Singapore electrical and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical design software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams.
• Relevant Singapore construction/M&E experience will be an advantage.
