Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight forwarding (Import & Export Operations). Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

  • Knowledge of import and export procedures, air freight documentation, customs regulations, Incoterms, and IATA regulations.

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire process of air freight operations for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Liaise with clients, international partners, airlines, ground handlers, customs agents, carriers, and other service providers to guarantee seamless shipment processing.

  • Organize air cargo bookings, flight timings, freight pickup, and delivery logistics.

  • Generate and manage shipping paperwork, such as House Air Waybill (HAWB), Master Air Waybill (MAWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Manifests, Shipping Instructions, and other necessary import/export documentation.

  • Oversee customs clearance and ensure adherence to all import and export laws and regulations.

  • Track shipment progress, flight itineraries, estimated times of arrival/departure, and communicate regular updates to clients.

  • Address any shipment delays, documentation errors, cargo problems, or operational issues that may arise.

  • Review air freight fees, airline expenses, vendor invoices, and prepare client invoices.

  • Keep precise records of all shipments and ensure all operational paperwork is correctly filled out and archived.

  • Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with clients, international agents, airlines, and suppliers.

  • Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the management.
