Purpose and Scope

The Senior Manager, Capability & Learning partners closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to build the organisational capabilities required for current and future business success.

Reporting to the Head, Capability & Learning, this role serves as a capability development subject matter expert, translating business strategy, workforce challenges and skills insights into practical capability-building solutions. The incumbent co-creates and executes interventions that strengthen technical, functional, leadership, digital and AI capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1.Capability Consulting & Solution Design

• Partner business leaders, HRBPs, COEs and SMEs to diagnose capability gaps, workforce challenges and development needs.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on capability development, advising stakeholders on effective workforce and learning solutions.
• Design solutions that strengthen technical, functional, commercial, leadership, digital and AI capabilities.

2.Capability Development & Delivery

• Design, curate and deliver data-driven learning and capability-building interventions based on business and workforce needs.
• Develop capability pathways, learning resources and development interventions that support employee growth and career progression.
• Continuously evaluate programme effectiveness and incorporate feedback to enhance learning outcomes and business impact.

3. Capability Insights & Skills Analytics

• Maintain and analyse capability, skills and learning data to identify trends and capability gaps.
• Track learning effectiveness, capability development outcomes, workforce readiness and return on capability investments using dashboards, reports and management insights.
• Develop and deliver learning solutions using the insights identified.

4.Capability Operations and Governance

• Manage capability and learning operations to ensure efficient execution, governance and continuous improvement.
• Manage key external partnerships, grants, accreditation requirements and industry collaborations that support capability development objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, Business, Learning & Development or related disciplines.
• At least 8-12 years of relevant experience in capability development, learning, organisational development, talent development, consulting or related fields.
• Proven experience partnering business leaders to diagnose workforce and capability challenges and design practical solutions.
• Experience designing and facilitating capability-building interventions across technical, functional, digital, leadership and/or workforce transformation domains.
• Familiarity with AI and digital technologies, and their implications on workforce capability, productivity and job redesign.
• Demonstrate a collaborative approach, with the ability to influence stakeholders and co-delivery solutions that improve workforce capability and business performance.
