Salary: RM2,000 - RM3,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Working arrangement: Tue - Sun (10am - 3pm, 5pm - 10pm)

What you’ll do

• Prepare ingredients and complete daily mise en place according to the chefs’ instructions.
• Assist with cooking, portioning and plating while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Keep your workstation, equipment and storage areas clean and organised.
• Follow food safety procedures, proper labelling, stock rotation and storage practices.
• Check ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns early.
• Coordinate with the team during service and support daily kitchen opening and closing tasks.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything on your first day. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a clear interest in Japanese cuisine and wants to improve.
• Is punctual, dependable and follows through on assigned tasks.
• Listens carefully, asks when unsure and applies feedback.
• Communicates respectfully and supports teammates during busy service.
• Takes hygiene, food quality and safe working practices seriously.
• Can work the advertised shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
