Education:

• Minimum Diploma in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

• Degree in Banking & Finance is an advantage

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in:

• Financial services (banking, cooperative, finance company)

• Insurance operations or customer service

• Any customer-facing role with transaction processing

• Fresh graduates with strong academic background and internship experience in banking/finance will be considered

1. Savings & Deposit Account Management

• Process customer savings account openings, closures, and account maintenance

• Handle deposit and withdrawal transactions accurately and promptly

• Update customer records and ensure data integrity in the system

• Issue passbooks, account statements, and deposit certificates as required

• Monitor account balances and flag unusual activities to supervisors

 2. Customer Service & Support

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding savings accounts, interest rates, and deposit products

• Assist customers with account-related issues, including lost passbooks, PIN resets, and transaction disputes

• Provide clear explanations of savings product features, terms, and conditions

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and friendly service

 3. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all customer documentation is complete, verified, and properly filed

• Comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements

• Adhere to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines and company policies

• Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times

• Prepare reports for internal and external audits as required

 4. Deposit Product Promotion

• Educate customers on available savings and deposit products

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell suitable products

• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities related to savings products

• Refer potential customers to the sales or business development team

  5. Administrative & Operational Support

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on deposit collections and account activities

• Reconcile cash and transaction records at the end of each day

• Assist in preparing documents for regulatory submissions

• Support the operations team in process improvement initiatives

 6. Record Keeping & Filing

• Maintain accurate physical and digital records of all savings accounts

• Ensure timely and organized filing of customer application forms and supporting documents

• Assist in archiving old records in accordance with company policy
