Job Description

1. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food laboratories, kitchens, workstations and cooking equipment.

2. Prepare ingredients, utensils and equipment for Nutrition and Food Science practical lessons.

3. Receive food deliveries, organise supplies and ensure proper food storage and handling.

4. Monitor kitchen inventory, check expiry dates and maintain stock records.

5. Conduct laboratory cleaning and stocktaking during school holidays and assist with other assigned operational duties.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N-Level qualification or equivalent.

• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification required.

• Relevant working experience as an NFS Food Laboratory Assistant in a secondary school required.

• Knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling, kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures preferred.

• Good communication skills in English; basic Microsoft Word, Excel and email skills preferred.
  

  Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes daily (timing based on school timetable)
