WE’RE HIRING | TECHNICAL & PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Motul Malaysia is looking for passionate Technical & Product Specialists who want to combine technical knowledge with customer engagement, product development and hands-on problem solving.

This is more than a technical support role. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, distributors and customers to recommend the right lubricant solutions, resolve application challenges, support product trials and conversions, strengthen technical capability through training, and contribute to the ongoing development of our product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical and application expertise on Motul products and lubricant solutions
• Recommend products based on equipment, OEM specifications and operating requirements
• Troubleshoot technical and product-performance issues
• Support field trials, product testing and lubricant analysis
• Contribute to product portfolio development and new product introductions
• Deliver technical training to internal teams, distributors and customers
• Support local product certification, approvals and technical documentation, including SIRIM requirements
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to turn technical advantages into strong customer value propositions

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have:

• A Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another relevant technical/scientific discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in lubricants, automotive, industrial, engineering, technical service, product management or a related technical environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• An interest in lubricant technology, specifications and applications
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for customers and commercial teams
• A customer-focused mindset and willingness to work in field, workshop and industrial environments
