Role Description The Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to promote Chery, GWM, and Jetour brands, including campaigns, promotions, and events that drive showroom traffic and sales. The Marketing Manager will manage digital and traditional marketing channels, oversee social media and content, coordinate with sales and after-sales teams, and work with external agencies or partners to ensure consistent brand messaging. Daily tasks include analyzing market trends and customer data, monitoring campaign performance, managing the marketing budget, preparing reports, and optimizing initiatives for better brand awareness and customer engagement. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with brand principals and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong marketing strategy and planning skills, including campaign development and brand positioning.
• Experience with digital marketing channels such as social media, online advertising, and content marketing.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and generate insights to guide marketing decisions.
• Competence in coordinating events, promotions, and showroom activities to support sales objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear, persuasive marketing materials.
• Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives and deadlines.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry or consumer retail marketing is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working on-site in Shah Alam and collaborating cross-functionally with sales and service teams.
• Proficiency with basic design tools or familiarity with working alongside creative and media agencies is beneficial.
