Experience, Technical Knowledge & Functional Skills

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 

• Strong interest in coffee and long-term development as a Barista. 

• Prior experience as barista in café or F&B environment is an advantage.

• Familiar with cashiering and handling of POS systems.

• Basic knowledge of coffee, beverages, and café operations.

• Knowledge of operating espresso machines, grinders, and bar equipment.

• Ability to understand menu items and service procedures.

• Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and bar cleanliness practices.

• Customer-oriented with a positive and friendly attitude.

• Attention to product quality and consistency.

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with a responsible and reliable work attitude.

• Learning mindset with interest in long-term career progression.

• Proficiency in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Proficiency in spoken Chinese will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions   

• Shift-based work including weekends and public holidays

• Fast-paced café environment with prolonged standing

• Occasional support required during peak periods or special promotions

• Hands-on role involving continuous customer interaction and beverage preparation

A) Customer Service

a) Greet customers courteously and attend to their orders in a timely and professional manner.

b) Assist customers with menu items, basic product information, and service-related inquiries.

c) Handle cashiering duties accurately, including order processing and payment handling.

B) Front-of-House Operations

a) Support daily café operations including order taking, food and beverage serving, and table clearing.

b) Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, counter, and front-of-house equipment.

c) Follow outlet SOPs, service standards, and hygiene requirements at all times.

C) Team Support

a) Collaborate with outlet team members to ensure smooth café operations.

b) Follow work schedules and instructions assigned by supervisors or outlet management.

c) Provide basic training or guidance to Barista Trainees when required.

D) Beverage Preparation & Bar Operations

a) Independently prepare coffee and other beverages according to café recipes and quality standards.

b) Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.

c) Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and equipment.

d) Monitor inventory of barista supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.

E) Compliance & Other Duties

a) Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

b) Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor, Bar Manager, or Outlet Management.
