Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on SG Group policies and regional regulatory requirements for all operational units
• Maintain a proactive regulatory monitoring framework, guiding business heads on policy interpretation and implementation
• Ensure seamless regulatory reporting and engagement across all contact center and shared service functions
• Develop and execute the Annual Assurance Plan, aligned with Group priorities and TOGA expectations
• Own and coordinate internal and external reviews
• Oversee, track, and validate the timely remediation of audit findings and action plans
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, delivering pragmatic, business-enabling risk solutions
• Foster a strong risk-aware culture through regular engagements, training, and strategic risk communications
• Step up as the designated alternate or backup to the Senior Division Manager – Risk & Governance when required

Key Requirements

• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, operational assurance, internal or external audit, or risk governance within banking or financial services hubs
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, CAMS, or Risk Management credentials are highly advantageous
• Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, banking operations (contact centers, processing, shared services), and cross-border governance
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, align group-level expectations with local execution, and drive compliance discipline across cross-functional teams
• Exceptional diplomacy, analytical rigor, and stakeholder management skills

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,500.00 per day
