About the role

We are looking for a creative and organised Content Planning Executive/Content Planner/Content & Production Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating content for our podcast, YouTube videos and outdoor productions, from developing content ideas and sourcing guests to coordinating filming arrangements and supporting the production process.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys content planning, communicating with people, discovering interesting personalities and turning ideas into engaging content.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Media, Broadcasting, Marketing, Communications, Creative Media or a related field.

• Experience in content planning, media, broadcasting, digital content, podcast, YouTube or production-related roles is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in communicating with guests and external parties.

• Creative, proactive and able to develop interesting content ideas.

• Good organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.

• Comfortable communicating with different types of people, including VIPs, public figures and external partners.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.

• Willing to travel for outdoor shoots and work outside the office when required.

• Junior-level candidate with strong interest in content, media, podcasting or digital production are encouraged to apply.

Content Planning & Development

• Plan and develop content ideas, topics and concepts for podcasts, YouTube videos and other digital content.

• Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, personalities and potential guests.

• Develop programme concepts, episode directions and content flow.

• Work closely with the team to ensure content is engaging, relevant and aligned with the overall direction of the channel.

• Assist in preparing interview topics, questions, talking points and other materials when required.

Guest Sourcing & Coordination

• Identify and source suitable guests, including industry professionals, influencers, experts and other interesting personalities.

• Reach out to potential guests and manage guest invitations and communications.

• Coordinate with guests regarding availability, schedules, and filming arrangements.

• Maintain good communication and relationships with guests throughout the planning and production process.

Production & Shooting Coordination

• Plan and coordinate podcast, studio and outdoor filming arrangements.

• Brief guests on the filming process, shooting arrangements and other relevant information before production.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure filming runs smoothly.

• Assist during filming and outdoor shoots when required.

Other Responsibilities

• Handle other content planning and production-related tasks as assigned.

Working Location:

This position will be based at the office near Jalan Ipoh.

MRT Station: Kentonmen MRT Station (MRT Putrajaya Line)

Salary Range:
