Full Time Safety Supervisor - Officer (Manufacturing Industry) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in ASIAN RESINATED FELT SDN BHD Negeri Sembilan - Maukerja

Role responsibilities:

• Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at company & Production floor;
• Enforcement of safety and health policy and assist employees pertaining safety and health matters at workplace
• Ensure that all staff and workers are using suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working at the worksite and ensure workers understand the hazards and risks involved in the jobs;
• Monitor and checking of sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the Act and Regulations.
• Perform regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate risks.
• Liaise with the DOSH, DOE, BOMBA,Police and other relevant government agencies with regard to health, safety and security matters affecting workers.
• Provide guidance and support to management in making informed decisions regarding health and safety matters (noise levels, use of machinery, etc).
• Provide support in the development of OSH policies and programs.
• Conducting risk assessment by identifying workplace hazards and assesses risks to employee health and safety.
• Observes and promotes safe work practices and procedures.
• Organise and deliver safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation, safety induction, and on-going training sessions.
• Organise and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting purposes.
• Person in charge for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit , document preparation & maintain the the certification.
• Work closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, JKKP, BOMBA, etc.) to ensure compliance and update OSH-related issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Job requirement:

• At least a Diploma in Occupational Safety / Health / Environment Management.
• At least 2 years of working experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations and ISO 14001 and 45001, knowledge of ISO 9001 will be added-advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present and explain safety & health topics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
