Responsibilities
Are you someone who enjoys leading people, coaching a young team, and being part of a lively store environment?
We’re looking for a mature, responsible and hands-on Assistant Supervisor who can be the steady force on the floor — someone who knows how to motivate a team, drive sales, maintain standards!
YOUR ROLE:
1) TEAM LEADERSHIP & MENTORSHIP
Be the experienced presence that the team can rely on.
• Lead, motivate and coach the young part timers on the floor
• Lead by example in service magic, salesmanship and store standards
• Understand each part timers strengths and areas for development
• Support training (operation and sales driving)
• Build a positive, energetic and united team culture
2) SALES & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Great service and great sales go hand in hand.
• Drive daily sales and support store target achievement to provide actionable inventory feedback to OPTS Admin for ordering
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve
• Coach the team in customer engagement, salesmanship and service
• Be present and hands-on during key peak periods
3) STORE OPERATIONS & INVENTORY
Keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations
• Monitor stock levels and product availability to provide actionable inventory feedback to OPTS Admin for ordering
• Understand store requirements and upcoming needs
• Maintain operational, visual and cleanliness standards
4) SHIFT COVERAGE & SCHEDULING
Be the person who helps keep the team moving when manpower gets tight.
• Coordinate with OPTS Admin on staff shortages
• Rally the team to cover open shifts
• Step in directly when shifts cannot be filled
• Be on-site during key peak periods, weekends and public holidays
