We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of complex semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects in Singapore.

Working alongside the Project Manager and wider project team, you will support projects across the full lifecycle, from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close-out. The role will suit someone with an engineering or construction background who enjoys working in technically demanding, fast-paced project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in delivering semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects from inception through completion and handover.
  • Coordinate project activities across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and close-out.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, milestones, trackers and progress reports.
  • Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements and escalate risks or delays.
  • Maintain project risk registers and support mitigation and change-control activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.
  • Support tendering and procurement activities, including preparation of scopes of work, RFP/tender documentation and bid evaluations.
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, forecasts, variations and commercial documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews and value-engineering exercises.
  • Attend and, where appropriate, chair project coordination and progress meetings; prepare agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety and compliance.
  • Support testing, commissioning and handover activities and ensure required project documentation is completed.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Ideally 2+ years of relevant project management, project engineering or construction experience.
  • Exposure to semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data centre, cleanroom, industrial or other mission-critical projects would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of M&E/building services, construction sequencing and project delivery processes.
  • Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers and client stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of project controls including programme, cost, risk, change and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project or similar project-management tools would be advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports and meeting minutes.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Comfortable working on site and collaborating with multidisciplinary and international project teams.
