Job Overview

We are looking for a Product Designer specializing in Backoffice and Enterprise Experience to shape the user experience of our internal operational platforms and B2B customer-facing Backoffice products.

You will work across complex business domains alongside dedicated Product Owners who own the business requirements, rules, priorities, and domain outcomes. Your role is to bring strong Backoffice and Enterprise UX expertise and turn complex operational requirements into experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and consistent.

Do You Possess the Following Traits?

Backoffice & Enterprise UX Specialist

  • You understand the needs of professional and power users, where efficiency, clarity, information density, and error prevention are critical.

Complex Workflow Thinker

  • You can map multi-step user and task flows, including decisions, dependencies, exceptions, and approvals, and simplify them into efficient journeys.

Information Architecture & Data UX Expert

  • You can structure complex information into clear hierarchies and navigation models so users can quickly find, understand, and act on information.

User-Centric Problem Solver

  • You observe how users actually work, identify friction and workarounds, and challenge requirements or interaction patterns when there is a better solution.

Interaction Design & Usability

  • You know how to guide users through complex tasks with clear interactions, appropriate feedback, and error prevention.

Cross-Domain & Design System Thinker

  • You work across different product areas and establish consistent, reusable interaction patterns rather than one-off solutions.

Who Do You Report To, and What Are Your Responsibilities?

  • You report to the Senior Product Manager and work horizontally with Product Owners and Managers across the Backoffice ecosystem.
  • You own the Backoffice Experience design discipline, including how users navigate, understand information, complete operational tasks, and interpret system outputs.
  • Domain Product Managers/Owners continue to own business logic, requirements, priorities, and domain outcomes.
  • You understand users and operational workflows by working closely with Product Owners, internal users, and B2B customers to identify pain points, inefficient processes, workarounds, and sources of operational errors.
  • You translate complex operational requirements into intuitive and efficient experiences using information architecture, navigation models, user/task flows, and interaction design, then validate them through wireframes and prototypes.
  • You design information-heavy and decision-support experiences that help users quickly find, understand, and act on information, including B2B reporting and analytics.
  • You establish and maintain consistent Backoffice UX standards across different product areas by creating reusable interaction patterns and providing UX reviews.
  • You collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Data, and Operations throughout delivery and validation.
  • You use usability feedback and measures such as task completion time, number of steps, and error rates to continuously improve the user experience.

How You Work with Domain Product Owners

  • Owns the business problem, domain knowledge, business rules, requirements, priorities, and business outcomes.

Backoffice Product Designer

  • Owns the UX approach, including:
  • Information architecture
  • Workflow design
  • Interaction patterns
  • Usability
  • Consistency
  • User validation
  • You are expected to understand enough domain context to design effectively, but you are not expected to become the domain owner.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Design, UX Design, or Interaction Design experience, with demonstrated experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, Backoffice, or operational products.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise and Backoffice UX principles, including information architecture, workflow efficiency, interaction design, error prevention, and productivity for professional users.
  • Experience conducting user research, workflow analysis, and usability testing, and translating findings into practical UX improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Managers/Owners, Engineering, QA, Data, and operational users.
  • Ability to constructively challenge requirements and clearly explain design decisions.
  • Experience creating or contributing to scalable design systems and reusable interaction patterns.
  • Experience designing data-intensive, workflow-heavy, or operational platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in industries such as financial services, banking, payments, logistics, healthcare, e-commerce, SaaS, risk management, fraud prevention, or other complex operational environments is an advantage.
