Responsibilities
About the role
The Accounts Executive is responsible for the company's accounts & finance function within their area of responsibility. He/she needs to interact confidently and build credible relationships with internal team members and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Prepare a full set of accounts in accordance with FRSs for all entities.
Prepare timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
Process AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and posting entries to the system.
Perform various aspects of Project Accounting Management and Financial analysis support.
Provide timely support in Cashflow, Working Capital Management, Budget and Forecast.
Ensure inter-company invoice transactions tally among multi-companies.
Prepare quarterly GST schedules and GST submissions.
Handle progress claims, invoices, credit notes & company insurance-related matters.
Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, accounting software system, government bodies pertaining to financial matters.
Any other ad-hoc duties related to accounts, finance & admin areas as per assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Construction & Renovation industry is preferred
Takes initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines.
Good communication, organised, good interpersonal skills & team player.
Able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical & reporting skills
