Job Description
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities at the worksite.
Coordinate workers, subcontractors and site activities to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed according to project schedules.
Read and follow construction drawings, plans and specifications.
Check the quality of construction work and ensure it meets the required standards.
Ensure workers follow workplace safety rules and safe work procedures.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other parties to resolve site issues.
Prepare daily site reports and update work progress.
Monitor the use of construction materials, tools and equipment.
Assist with manpower planning and the allocation of daily work tasks.
Arrange and coordinate the transportation of workers to and from the worksite when required.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Relevant experience in construction site supervision.
Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings and site operations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to manage daily site activities and solve work-related problems.
Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
Knowledge of workplace safety requirements is an advantage.
