Job Overview

• We are looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Executive to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations at Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Johor.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, monitoring operational performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to achieve operational efficiency and service quality.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in operations, preferably in third-party logistics (3PL).

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Relevant working experience in Free Trade Zones or Commercial Zones is preferred.

• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently and effectively manage daily warehouse operations.

• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures, inventory control, and operational processes.

• Willing to work overtime (OT) when required.

• Act as the main point of contact with the company's designated personnel to monitor contractor operational compliance, service quality, KPI performance, issue resolution, and operational improvement opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety programmes and conducting site safety briefings in accordance with company policies.

• Oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth overall warehouse operations.

• Execute agreed KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

• Ensure all team members comply with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.

• Maintain well-organised warehouse layouts and storage areas, ensuring materials are stored safely and properly.

• Manage inventory control activities, including stock-taking and cycle-counting planning.

• Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare periodic operational reports and provide relevant data for management discussions and continuous improvement planning.

• Keep immediate supervisors updated on outstanding issues, resolved matters, and operational progress.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, change requests, and new projects.

• Support and participate in internal and external audits.

• Handle billing and invoicing matters related to warehouse operations.

• Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and operational records.

• Perform any other job-related tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

• Work overtime (OT) when required to support operational needs.
