Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above; a background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.

  • At least three years of relevant experience in finance administration, invoicing, payment processing, accounts receivable follow-up or business coordination.

  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English, with the ability to use all three languages for verbal communication, telephone calls, WhatsApp, emails and work documents.

  • Familiar with invoices, payment documents, bank statements and basic finance documentation.

  • Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.

  • Able to work independently, take ownership of follow-up matters and communicate effectively with headquarters, clients and external service providers.

  • Professional presentation, sound business etiquette and good interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must hold a valid driving license and have own transport.

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM after the new office opens

Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and organise supporting documents for receipts and payments.

  • Follow up on daily receipt and payment processes and maintain clear, accurate finance records and basic tracking schedules.

  • Perform basic checks of bank statements, payment information and related data.

  • Follow up on accounts receivable and outstanding payments for existing projects, and communicate with relevant clients and business stakeholders.

  • Based on available project records, assist with checking claim documents, payment data and basic quantity information.

  • Liaise with the external company secretary, accounting firm and auditor, prepare requested documents, and follow up on annual compliance, accounting and audit matters.

  • Support daily office matters in Malaysia and internal communication with China headquarters.

  • During the new-office setup period, assist with necessary renovation coordination.

  • Provide reasonable support outside normal working hours when urgent business matters arise, subject to communication and actual business needs.

Added advantage: Exposure to construction projects, progress claims or basic quantity checking is preferred but not mandatory. This role does not require professional Quantity Surveyor qualifications, construction cost-estimating expertise or independent drawing interpretation.

Benefits

  • Monthly salary of RM5,000–RM8,000, depending on relevant experience and overall capability.
  • Five-day workweek. After the new office opens, working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
  • EPF, SOCSO and EIS contributions in accordance with applicable Malaysian law.
  • Annual leave, sick leave and Malaysian public holidays in accordance with applicable Malaysian law.
