Purpose and Scope

We are looking for a commercially minded professional to support the origination, negotiation and execution of electricity supply agreements for commercial and industrial customers across different sectors. The role will cover thermal, renewable and low-carbon electricity solutions.

This role supports business growth by developing customer opportunities, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts and working with internal teams to complete deals. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing assigned accounts and commercial workstreams, with support from internal teams where needed. Familiarity with Singapore’s electricity market and interest in the energy transition would be valuable.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and support commercial strategies to grow revenue, margin and customer relationships across power and low-carbon energy solutions
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through customer engagement, market updates and industry trends
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, including pricing, contract terms and solutions tailored to customer needs
• Manage RFPs, tenders, negotiations and contract execution, working with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and complete transactions
• Monitor market, regulatory and fuel price developments and turn them into clear commercial recommendations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and internal teams to support deal delivery and long-term account growth
• Support contract management, governance and risk management after deals are signed

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant experience in commercial sales, business development, customer account management, deal support or contract management, preferably in power, utilities, energy, sustainability or related sectors. Prior exposure to Singapore’s electricity market would be helpful, but candidates with adjacent experience and willingness to learn will also be considered.
• Around 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to customer engagements, commercial workstreams, proposals, negotiations or contract discussions involving commercial, industrial or public sector customers
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline; familiarity with commercial contracts and common contractual terms would be useful

• Strong commercial sense and ability to turn market information into practical customer proposals
• Good negotiation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable analysing commercial, regulatory and operational information to support decision-making
• Clear communicator who can work with customers, management and internal teams
• Driven, collaborative and able to manage work independently while contributing as a dependable team member
