As a Senior Technical Business Development Executive, you’ll own and grow Aonic’s key industrial accounts in Utilities, Energy and Surveying. You’ll own the client relationship, product demos and solution scoping, pricing and terms, tenders, delivery handover and account growth, with success measured on account revenue growth and client retention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Account Ownership & Growth: Own a defined portfolio of key accounts with a written account plan per client covering revenue target, stakeholders and next steps. Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Aonic Industrial portfolio, and run regular account reviews with key clients to track usage, issues and expansion opportunities.
• Technical Selling, Demos & Scoping: Run product demos, field trials and site visits for core solutions, including DJI Enterprise, Dock, FlightHub 2 and mapping workflows.
• Commercial, Quoting & Tenders: Lead tender and proposal submissions end to end, ensuring compliance, matched specifications, met deadlines and clean documentation.
• Delivery Handover & Account Care: Act as the client’s single point of escalation during delivery and after- sales, and close the loop on issues. Maintain client vendor registrations and requirements for regulated sectors.
• Pipeline, Forecast & Documentation: Keep every deal in the CRM updated with stage, value, next step and expected close date. Provide forecast inputs for the weekly Industrial Sales review cadence, and keep account records organized, including meeting notes, quotes, contracts and shared files.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field; Engineering, Technology or Geomatics preferred.
• 2 to 4 years in B2B sales, key account management or technical project/account management, ideally in drones, surveying, energy, utilities or industrial technology.
• Proven experience with proposals, tenders and enterprise/GLC procurement processes.
• Hands-on, demo-level competence with DJI Enterprise products, plus working knowledge of survey mapping workflows.
• Strong commercial skills, including negotiation and contract terms.
• Confident presenting to client management and writing proposals in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to drive and travel to client sites across Malaysia.
