We serve as the sole provider of commercial solutions, creative design, and integrated ad strategies for Malaysia's premier independent news platforms, including Malaysiakini and KiniTV.

Role Description

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with top-tier brands, corporate, SMEs, and Media/Advertising/PR Agencies to bolster revenue streams from key clients & new clients.
• Pitching and preparing advertising integrated proposals and presentations for clients.
• Formulate strategies encompassing online and offline advertising, events, content partnerships, and more, consistently surpassing monthly targets.
• Oversee the execution of advertising campaigns, attending client & agency’s needs and provide customer services after sales.
• Seek creative ways by researching and networking to bring in advertising revenue for the company.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to identify business opportunities, focusing on upselling and optimizing ad performance for maximum ROI.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and company protocols, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Achieving monthly & quarterly sales targets (based on target sales indicated in Sales Compensation Plan)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in Media, Publishing, Advertising, PR, or Marketing & Communications
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
