We are seeking a hands‑on Senior DevOps Engineer to join our banking technology team. This role requires deep expertise in CI/CD tool upgrades, vulnerability patching, and traditional server administration. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, scalability, and compliance of our DevOps ecosystem across both modern pipelines and legacy VM/server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Tool Management & Upgrades: Administer, upgrade, and maintain Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Nexus Repository. Perform end‑to‑end upgrades including compatibility assessment, migration planning, rollback strategy, and post‑upgrade validation.
• Vulnerability Patching: Execute patching across Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Windows Server, VMware ESXi, and CI/CD tools. Apply dependency vulnerability remediation using Nexus Firewall, Sonatype IQ, OWASP Dependency Check. Ensure compliance with banking security standards.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage traditional VMs (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud instances (AWS EC2, Azure VMs).Maintain databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and networking components (VPC, subnets, firewalls, load balancers).
• System Administration: Configure and troubleshoot Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, Nginx. Manage SSL/TLS certificates (installation, renewal, troubleshooting). Perform low‑level Linux troubleshooting (SSH, permissions, services, processes, filesystems, LVM, kernel logs). Perform Windows administration (Active Directory, patch cycles, IIS, networking).
• Performance & Reliability: Monitor system health using Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack. Optimize CI/CD pipelines for high availability and scalability.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD workflows. Document processes and provide clear visibility using Jira dashboards, Confluence knowledge base.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Nexus Repository.
• Proven experience in tool upgrades (end‑to‑end lifecycle).
• Strong background in Linux/Windows administration, VMware, databases, networking, Apache HTTP Server, SSL/TLS.
• Demonstrated ability in vulnerability patching across OS, servers, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with banking/financial services environments and compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with low‑level system expertise.
• Good to have::
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, release automation).
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, Antigravity, Claude Code).
