Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our IT team, reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager and leading functional delivery for Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) across our global operations.

This role is critical in enabling both the SCM and OTM teams to deliver operational excellence, enhance business processes, and maximize the value of our technology investments. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, providing expertise from requirements gathering to solution delivery, while ensuring smooth adoption of enhancements, updates, and integrations.

The position frequently influences and contributes to key operational decisions, ensuring technology solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and operational needs across the organization. It also drives process standardization, system adoption, and continuous improvement, ensuring solutions are scalable, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with relevant policies and regulations.

JOB OUTPUT & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Partner with Finance (ERP) and Supply Chain (SCM) stakeholders to gather, clarify and validate requirements, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications aligned with Oracle Fusion capabilities and leading practices.
  • Support the configuration and enhancement of Oracle Fusion modules in collaboration with technical teams and implementation partners.
  • Contribute across the full ERP delivery lifecycle, from requirements and system design through SIT/UAT, deployment and postgo-live support.
  • Analyze and map processes—including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, inventory and warehouse flows—and recommend improvements aligned with standard Oracle Fusion functionality.
  • Support the configuration, maintenance and integration of SCM and OTM solutions.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather, challenge and validate business needs.
  • Convert validated requirements into functional specifications, configuration designs and test scenarios.
  • Participate in system design, SIT/UAT, deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Assess the impact of Oracle quarterly updates on SCM and OTM, and coordinate regression testing.
  • Write SQL queries to investigate issues, analyze transactions and validate data across Oracle Fusion and OTM.
  • Review payloads and error logs to identify root causes before escalating issues to technical teams.
  • Troubleshoot SCM and OTM issues with internal teams and Oracle or partner support to ensure timely resolution.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend targeted process or configuration improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows and standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver end-user training and support change management for new processes and releases

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in supply chain, logistics or transportation, ideally in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Strong hands-on functional and configuration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and/or Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Experience in at least one full-cycle Oracle implementation or major enhancement, covering design, testing and go-live.
  • Working SQL skills, with the ability to write queries using joins, filters and aggregations to analyze and validate data independently.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, including procurement, inventory, order fulfilment, shipment planning and freight costing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to trace issues across processes, data and integrations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in preparing clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and test scripts.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across regions and time zones

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with Oracle SCM and/or OTM
  • Oracle Cloud SCM or OTM certification is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of modern Cloud-based systems and business process frameworks in a global enterprise context.
