Key Responsibilities:

Application Ownership & Business Support

• Serve as the functional lead for SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Concur, and e-invoicing applications.
• Partner with Finance users and process owners to understand operational needs, resolve application issues, and improve user experience.
• Provide functional guidance for complex incidents, recurring problems, and process-related queries.
• Ensure support requests are appropriately prioritised, resolved, documented, and followed through with internal teams and service providers.
• Maintain application stability, process integrity, and alignment with Finance policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Solution Blueprint & Functional Design

• Govern core SAP S/4HANA Finance design supporting business processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial closing.
• Oversee SAP Concur travel and expense processes, including approvals, reimbursements, audit rules, corporate-card integration, and financial posting.
• Lead the functional implementation and support of customer and supplier e-invoicing requirements across applicable jurisdictions.
• Lead requirement discussions, assess impact across Finance and integrated processes and translate business needs into clear, practical, and supportable SAP solutions before implementation.
• Promote the use of SAP standard capabilities and clean-core principles while ensuring solutions meet business and control requirements.

SAP Enhancements & Process Improvements

• Identify and prioritise system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements with Finance stakeholders.
• Lead enhancements, regulatory changes, and mini projects from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and transition to support.
• Coordinate functional configuration, testing, defect resolution, user validation, release readiness, and post-deployment support.
• Ensure solutions are properly documented and that relevant users and support teams receive adequate knowledge transfer.
• Monitor delivered improvements and address any follow-up actions required to achieve the intended business outcome.

Key Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification is an advantage.

Experience

• 10–15 years of SAP Finance functional experience covering application support, enhancements, and project delivery.
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance solution design and functional delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Concur and e-invoicing solutions.
• Experience working with Finance stakeholders, business users, technical teams, system integrators, and managed-service providers.
• Experience supporting multi-company, multi-currency, or multi-country SAP environments is an advantage.

SAP Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Closing.
• Good understanding of Finance integration with Procurement, Sales, Project Systems, Plant Maintenance, and other relevant SAP processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP Concur expense, travel, approvals, audit rules, reimbursements, and financial posting.
• Practical understanding of e-invoicing processes, regulatory validation, integration, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Ability to develop and review business requirements, solution blueprints, functional specifications, test scenarios, and support documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, workflows, interfaces, master data, reporting, authorisations, and segregation-of-duties controls.
