THE JOBSCOPE
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase event bookings and revenue.
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, agencies, and business partners.
- Proactively source potential clients and follow up on leads to secure new business.
- Handle event enquiries, prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
- Promote venue facilities, event packages, meetings, conferences, banquets, and other functions.
- Conduct site inspections and venue presentations for prospective clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and recommend suitable event solutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure client requirements are communicated and event arrangements are properly managed.
- Monitor sales performance, follow up on pending proposals, and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline, client database, and records of enquiries and confirmed bookings.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business opportunities and revenue forecasts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in hotels, conference centres, banquet operations, or event venues.
- Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
