Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Outlet Operations

• Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.

• Ensure the outlet operates smoothly and efficiently.

• Monitor staff performance and ensure duties are carried out properly.

• Ensure the restaurant is ready for opening and closing.

• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

• Ensure customers receive good service and dining experiences.
  Staff Supervision & Management

  • Supervise, guide and train service staff.

  • Assign daily duties and responsibilities to team members.

  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and grooming standards.

  • Prepare staff schedules and manage shift arrangements.

  • Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures and service standards.

  • Report staff performance issues and operational concerns to management.
    

    Food Safety & Hygiene

    • Ensure compliance with SFA food safety and hygiene requirements.

    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area, kitchen and storage areas.

    • Ensure food is stored properly and labelled with the correct dates.

    • Monitor food handling, preparation and serving practices.

    • Conduct regular checks on refrigerators, equipment and food storage areas.

    • Ensure all staff follow proper food safety procedures.

    4. Inventory & Stock Control

    • Monitor daily stock levels and ensure sufficient supplies are available.

    • Coordinate food and beverage orders with suppliers.

    • Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders.

    • Monitor stock usage and minimise wastage.

    • Conduct regular stocktakes and report discrepancies.

    • Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items.

    5. Customer Service

    • Ensure staff provide prompt and courteous service.

    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues appropriately.

    • Monitor customer satisfaction and service quality.

    • Ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.

    • Maintain a welcoming and professional dining environment.

    6. Cashiering & Sales Monitoring

    • Oversee cashiering and payment transactions.

    • Ensure accurate cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.

    • Monitor daily sales performance.

    • Check POS transactions, refunds, voids and discounts.

    • Report discrepancies or irregularities to management.
