Full Time Research Assistant (Structured-Light Quantum Information) Jobs, in Nanyang Technological University Southwest (Singapore) - Maukerja

The Structured Light and Quantum Photonics Laboratory at NTU’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences & School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering conducts cutting-edge research in photonic quantum information, OAM-structured light, quantum hopfions, and topological photonics.

The position involves the design and analysis of gate-level photonic quantum circuits using polarisation, path, and OAM as active qubits and qudits, with a primary focus on quantum hopfions, higher-dimensional quantum topologies, and multi-photon GHZ state engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design structured-light quantum circuits
• Investigate quantum hopfions and topological photonic states
• Develop OAM qudit frameworks
• Verify cross-DOF CNOT gates
Contribute to publications and experimental collaborations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, Quantum Information Photonics, or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong quantum circuit and optical theory background
• Proficiency in Python/MATLAB
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
