Full Time Production Planning Assistant Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,300 in Big Image Media (M) Selangor - Maukerja

• Diploma or Degree in Printing Technology (or a related field such as Graphic Communication / Print Media)

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with experience in print production, packaging/box printing, digital or inkjet printing will be an added advantage

• Must possess a valid driving license (minimum motorcycle license), as the job requires frequent visits to manufacturers

• Willing to travel to suppliers during peak production periods

• Able to start work immediately is an advantage

Job Sheet & Job Planning

• Receive and check job sheets (Box, Digital and Inkjet jobs) from the Sales team for complete information: material/box type, quantity, deadline, final artwork and finishing

• Follow up with Sales to complete any job sheet with missing information before production starts

• Key in job details into the Master Job list and maintain job orders in the Google Sheet job tracker

• Assist the Production Manager in arranging printing by paper size and timeline, and arranging finishing jobs according to deadline and order specifications

• Check the final artwork before it is submitted to the manufacturer or printed in-house (only final artwork is printed)

Supplier & Manufacturer Coordination

• Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability of paper and raw materials

• Send orders to box manufacturers and arrange for completed items to be sent to other manufacturers for finishing

• Communicate with manufacturers on job progress and make sure jobs are completed on or before the deadline

• Visit manufacturers within the timeline to check job progress, and make a second visit to carry out QC once the job is completed

• Inform the Production Manager immediately if a job cannot meet the due date, and discuss with the manufacturer to get a new due date

• Help resolve common production issues such as colour variance, paper shortage, machine breakdown, manpower shortage at the manufacturer, specs being overlooked and last-minute deadline changes, including sourcing alternative manufacturers or suppliers when needed

In-House Digital & Inkjet Production

• Check job sheets and final artwork for digital and inkjet jobs

• Prepare artwork for printing and cutting using Adobe Illustrator / cutting software
