Role Name: Test Technician

Location: Singapore, 5 days onsite

Employment Type: 12 month contract (with potential extension)

Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Systems Engineering (SE) Contractor to support data-center SSD product development product development team lead and system engineering team in MSB (Singpore), system validation, customer qualification, and technical issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SSD system-level test setup and execution, including SLT activities.
• Perform system-level testing and data collection to support SSD product development and validation.
• Support system-level issue reproduction, debugging, and failure analysis.
• Assist with SSD characterization activities such as power and thermal testing.
• Support lab equipment setup, maintenance, and day-to-day 6S lab operations.
• Work with PDL/SE and other engineering teams to support product development schedules and execution.
• Follow established test procedures and document test results, observations, and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
• Basic understanding of SSD, PCIe/NVMe, computer hardware, or storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with system testing, lab equipments (Chamber, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Multimeter, Quarch, etc), hardware setup, or failure analysis is preferred.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently on assigned test activities and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
