We are seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor (Public Area) to join the Housekeeping team at our Kuala Lumpur Hotel. In this role, you will take ownership of the cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of all public-facing and common areas of the hotel, ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects our commitment to quality and service excellence. You will lead a team of public area attendants, manage daily inspections, and work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate public area attendants' daily work schedules and assignments
• Conduct regular inspections of lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemical usage in accordance with SOPs and OSH guidelines
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues and with other departments (F&B, Front Office) on event/function turnover needs
• Train, coach, and evaluate public area attendants; enforce grooming and hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety regulations, and green/sustainability practices
• Handle guest feedback related to public area cleanliness promptly and professionally
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper with reporting and ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
• At least 2–3 years' experience in a similar Housekeeping Supervisor role, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel
• Strong knowledge of public area cleaning standards, chemical handling, and equipment operation
• Good leadership and communication skills; able to train and manage a team
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically fit and detail-oriented

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
