Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Support Engineer with hands-on Linux Administration and application support experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of troubleshooting application issues, monitoring systems, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform Linux server administration and basic system maintenance.
• Monitor application performance, system health and logs.
• Troubleshoot Linux-related issues, processes and services.
• Support application deployments, updates and configuration changes.
• Perform basic shell scripting and command-line operations.
• Identify, investigate and resolve application incidents.
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation and support records.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in Application Support / IT Support.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux Administration.
• Familiarity with Linux commands, file systems, permissions and processes.
• Experience in application monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and SSH.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
