Position

The Merchandising Manager drives the execution of retail merchandising strategies to deliver commercial performance, brand consistency, and client experience, and oversee the visual merchandising across stores. This role translates global assortment and activation strategies into actionable plans at store and regional level, overseeing offer optimization, launches, and in-store execution.

Working closely with Retail, central Merchandising and Visual Merchandising, the position monitors performance, supports decision-making through data analysis, and leads local teams to optimize sell through, inventory efficiency, and retail excellence.

Job responsibilities

Strategy & Offer Management

• Shape and implement the retail assortment strategy, ensuring store segmentation, channel mix, and product allocation reflect both commercial priorities and Maison identity
• Lead the development and roll-out of activation plans, including launches, special events, and seasonal highlights, tailored to local opportunities
• Monitor product lifecycle and performance, proposing tactical adjustments to maximize sales, sell-through, and margin

Business Analytics & Performance Management

• Analyse store and regional performance metrics, driving data-informed decision-making inventory, replenishment, and display optimization
• Lead the planning and follow-up of stock and capacity management, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time
• Oversee retail activation, from VM execution to in-store storytelling, to guarantee a seamless client journey.

Visual Merchandising

• Lead & oversee the execution of the Maison's visual merchandising strategy across retail environments
• Partner with in-store visual merchandising & store teams to deliver high-quality visual execution, monitor performance, and continuously improve the client experience while driving sales performance
• Track and report key metrics sell-through, dwell time, conversion rates-demonstrating the commercial impact of visual merchandising initiatives

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Develop and empower local merchandising teams, sharing best practices and cultivating a spirit of collaboration and excellence
• Act as the interface between central merchandising, retail, marketing, and operations- fostering alignment and accelerating decision cycles
• Support store teams with actionable insights, training, and tools to deliver an outstanding retail experience

Governance, Reporting & Client Focus

• Ensure compliance with Maicon processes and guidelines, safeguarding the Maison's reputation in every store environment
• Regularly report on performance, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for business acceleration
• Champion a client-centric approach- embedding feedback, competitive analysis, and market signals into every action
