Job Description
- Manage and monitor the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget, ensuring spending is aligned with approved plans.
- Review, validate, and control A&P claims, rebates, and promotional expenses.
- Analyse promotional effectiveness, ROI, and budget utilisation.
- Prepare monthly reports, forecasts, and variance analyses on A&P spending.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and proper documentation for all A&P expenditures.
- Support budgeting and annual planning exercises for marketing and trade promotion activities.
- Reconcile A&P accruals and provisions, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor trade spending and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Assist in audits and provide supporting documentation related to A&P transactions.
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, Trade Marketing Finance, A&P Controlling, or FP&A.
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, Food & Beverage would be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of A&P budgeting, trade spending, promotional claims, rebates, and accrual accounting.
- Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to monitor and control promotional expenditures.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Detail-oriented with good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Permanent employment contract.
- Salary of MYR 10000 to MYR 13000.
- Salary with 13 months.
