Job Description:

 Audit Planning & Execution

• Develop annual audit plan based on risk assessments.

• Execute and carry out financial, operational and Compliance audit on targeted group companies Select appropriate testing methods to test transactions, documents & systems.

• Evaluate evidences, exercise judgement, investigate exceptions and form defensible conclusions.

• Carry out site visits, perform stock count and process walkthroughs.
  

Internal Controls & Risk:

• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures of targeted companies Identify control gaps, fraud risks and process inefficiencies

• Make recommendations for practical and actionable improvements for gaps identified
  

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare complete, accurate and well organised audit working papers and maintain cross references that supports documentations Ensure audit findings can be supported by sufficient, relevant and reliable evidences.

• Prepare clear audit reports with findings, risks identified and appropriate recommendations

• Present clear, factual, professional and risk-focused findings to the Management
  

Follow up & Improvement:

• Follow up on audit issues and ensure corrective actions are taken

• Validate whether the corrective actions have actually addressed the weaknesses identified. Report status of tracking of corrective actions and remediation work

• Escalate overdue or ineffective actions through the established governance channels. Provide advices to Departments on best practices

• Provide necessary support for process improvement initiatives
  

Compliance & Special Assignment:

• Ensure respective companies within specified regions adhere to company policies, Accounting Standards, Company Act and relevant local regulations, when applicable.

• Conduct Ad hoc investigations for whistleblowing or fraud cases Liaise with external auditors as and when required

• Keep up-to-date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, as well as regulatory developments relevant to the profession.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related (ACCA/CPA/CIA preferred)                 

• Strong knowledge in Audit standards, Risk Management and Internal Controls

• 3 to 5 years of experiences in internal auditing or accounting field, preferably with MNCs

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient to good report writing capabilities

• Understand local regulations, cultural differences, and business practices of different countries

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment

• Able to engage all levels of stakeholders and gain collaboration with cross functional teams

• Great attention to details and strong time management skills

• Positive attitude and capable of working under pressure

• Willing and able to travel extensively across specified regions
