Responsibilities
About the role
We are an established local engineering company specializing in the distribution and sales of ACMV equipment to industrial and commercial clients across Singapore. With a strong network of suppliers and customers, we are looking for a driven and technically-minded Sales Engineer to join our team.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and technical explanations to clients
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals and sales reports
- Follow up on leads, inquiries and outstanding quotations in a timely manner
- Attend to sales support and site related matters
- Visit customers at their work place / office
- Assist to monitor payments from customers
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts
About you
- Must possess at least Professional Certificate / NITEC, Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or other relevant qualification
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
- Proven track record of new sales development
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficient in IT tools particularly Microsoft office
- Must possess class 3 driving license
