Client

We are looking for an experienced Tax Consultant to join a growing professional services firm located in KL Bandar Tasik Selatan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a key point of contact for their tax-related matters.
• Provide tax advisory and planning to clients, including corporate tax, withholding tax, RPGT and other relevant tax matters.
• Handle and liaise with authorities on tax audits, investigations, appeals and other tax-related correspondence.
• Review tax computations, tax returns and other deliverables prepared by the tax team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding clients’ business needs and providing practical tax solutions.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members and review their work where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and tax advisory.
• Prior experience managing a portfolio of clients and communicating directly with clients is essential.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and authorities practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and client management skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
