Responsibilities

As a member of our family-owned business, you will lead the inventory planning and stock control function to ensure optimal inventory availability, accuracy, and productivity across all stores and distribution channels. You will drive inventory strategies, strengthen inventory governance, improve forecasting and replenishment processes, and partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to support commercial objectives while minimizing inventory risks.

Inventory Planning & Replenishment
  • Develop inventory plans and forecasts to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Manage inventory parameters, replenishment settings, and ordering processes to balance customer demand and inventory investment.
  • Monitor inventory performance and drive actions to improve stock turnover and reduce excess inventory.
  • Partner with Category Management to support assortment planning and product availability.
Inventory Control & Governance
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes, cycle counts, stock takes, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies, damages, expiry, returns, and shrinkage, and implement corrective actions.
Inventory Operations & Improvement
  • Oversee operational inventory activities including ordering, tester inventory management, inventory exceptions, Open PO clean up, replenishment error checking, article/EAN validation and IDOC issue resolution.
  • Work with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Retail Operations teams to optimize replenishment and inventory flow.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and inventory productivity initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop, monitor and communicate inventory performance metrics, dashboards and management reports to support business decision-making. This includes:
o Inventory ageing and slow-moving stock
o Stock availability and out-of-stock performance
o Supplier fulfilment and service levels
o Inventory turnover and stock health
o ABC product classification
o Shelf capacity versus assortment optimisation
o Tester inventory performance
o Inventory variance and shrinkage analysis
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to improve inventory performance and working capital efficiency.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Inventory team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellence.
What you should bring along
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, replenishment, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP/MRP tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Retail, Beauty, FMCG or Consumer Goods experience is an advantage.
