Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented CCTV Monitoring Officer to operate and maintain surveillance equipment, monitor live and recorded CCTV footage, report incidents or suspicious activities, and contact the authorities when necessary to prevent intrusion or theft of company property.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification.

• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Able to monitor CCTV surveillance systems and identify suspicious activities.

• Good attention to detail and observation skills.

• Responsible, alert, and able to work independently.

• Able to prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records.

• Willing to travel to outlets for CCTV inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance when required.

• Basic technical knowledge of CCTV systems, alarms, and cabling will be an added advantage.

Monitoring

• Prepare daily reports and submit them to the Team Leader for compilation.

• Monitor activities at assigned outlets to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Promote awareness and disciplinary culture at the outlet level.

• Troubleshoot CCTV-related issues at outlets.

• Troubleshoot alarm systems at outlets.

• Inspect CCTV and alarm equipment during yearly visits for preventive maintenance.

Outstation

• Attend to outlets experiencing CCTV issues.

• Check and identify the causes of CCTV problems.

• Perform technical tasks such as pulling and connecting cables and positioning CCTV hardware correctly.

• Ensure assigned technical work is completed on time.

Backup Data

• Back up incident data from outlets or headquarters for investigation cases or as instructed by management.

• Prepare CCTV findings reports and submit them to the Team Leader for compilation.

• Burn CCTV footage onto CDs/DVDs and submit the data to the Operations Department.
