Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineering Lead — Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking experienced network professionals with hands-on FortiGate SD-WAN and Zscaler experience to support enterprise network operations, implementation and transformation initiatives.

Candidates must be able to configure and troubleshoot both platforms directly.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and troubleshoot FortiGate SD-WAN, including SD-WAN rules, performance SLAs, routing, IPsec connectivity and failover.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Zscaler services, including ZIA and/or ZPA, security policies and user/application connectivity.
• Support enterprise LAN, WAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, firewalls and cloud connectivity.
• Deliver network deployments, migrations, upgrades and technology refreshes.
• Provide L3 incident resolution, root cause analysis and performance optimisation.
• Implement network segmentation and secure access controls.
• Prepare technical designs, implementation procedures, rollback plans, network diagrams and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with regional IT teams, vendors and the NOC.
• Follow security, governance and change management standards.
• For the Lead position, own architecture and design decisions, guide engineers and lead network transformation projects.

Essential Requirements

• Network Engineer: Approximately 5–10 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Senior Network Engineering Lead: Approximately 10–15 years, including network architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven hands-on FortiGate SD-WAN implementation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Proven hands-on Zscaler configuration and troubleshooting experience. Please specify ZIA and/or ZPA expertise.
• Strong enterprise routing, switching and security knowledge, including BGP, OSPF, IPsec, HSRP and QoS.
• Practical experience in network segmentation, complex troubleshooting and production changes.
• Experience supporting wireless, DNS, load balancers and network monitoring tools.
• Professional networking/security certification; CCNP, CCIE, relevant Fortinet/Zscaler certifications or CISSP are highly valued.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Cisco ISE, F5, SolarWinds or LogicMonitor experience.
• Python or network automation skills.
• ITIL knowledge and regional enterprise support experience.
