Job Description

Responsibilities

At International Designed Design Associates, we specialize in delivering exceptional commercial and residential interior spaces. We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Singapore team, lead end-to-end design projects, and help shape our growing portfolio.

The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be the creative and operational anchor for your projects. You will manage the entire design lifecycle—from initial client consultation and concept development through to final handover—while mentoring junior team members and ensuring our quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead commercial and residential interior design projects from conceptualization to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Concept & Pitching: Develop innovative design concepts, space planning layouts, and mood boards. Present and pitch designs confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce and oversee detailed 2D/3D technical drawings, spatial plans, and material specifications.
  • Project Management: Coordinate closely with contractors, suppliers, and external vendors to ensure design accuracy and seamless on-site execution.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs and on-site works comply with local regulatory guidelines (BCA, URA, SCDF, etc.).
  • Mentorship: Guide and support junior designers and draftspersons, elevating the team's overall design capabilities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both commercial and residential projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore building codes, safety regulations, and submission processes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of successful client management.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to lead high-impact projects and shape the creative direction.
  • Collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits package based on experience.
