Responsibilities
Start your engineering career with an established MNC that manufactures oil & gas equipment!
Our client in Tuas designs and manufactures precision equipment for the global energy industry. They’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join their QA team and grow with them.
What you’ll do
Inspect and verify incoming, in-process and final products against drawings, specs and customer requirements
Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports and data books
Investigate non-conformances, find root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Support supplier quality, customer audits and ISO/API quality system requirements
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality
What we’re looking for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
0–2 years of experience. Internships, FYP or co-op projects in manufacturing, QA/QC or machining are a plus
Able to read engineering drawings; knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, CMM) an advantage
Analytical, detail-oriented and eager to learn on the shop floor
Good written and spoken communication skills
