JobResponsibilities
Prepare M&E cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions.
Review M&E drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope of works and cost implications.
Prepare bills of quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing evaluations.
Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate commercial proposals.
Assist in tender evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations.
Manage and monitor M&E subcontractors’ progress claims and payment certifications.
Evaluate variation orders, extension of time claims, and contractual claims related to M&E works.
Track project costs and assist in cost reporting and budget control.
Liaise with consultants, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters.
Maintain proper documentation and records for project costing and contractual submissions.
Support project handover and final account settlement.
JobRequirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in M&E Quantity Surveying, preferably in building construction projects.
Candidates with experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage.
Candidates from Malaysia are welcome to apply.Good knowledge of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, and ELV systems.
Able to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Familiar with measurement, costing, tender preparation, and contract administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quantity surveying software.
Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
